Wow. What an easy company to work with. They really went above and beyond to work with our schedule. My daughter had to be out of a 3rd floor walk up at noon on 7/31. But couldn’t get into her new place until noon on 7/31. Jade rearranged the schedule to fit us in. When it worked out that we could get in the day before, they accommodated the change. That gave us time to have the old apartment cleaned before turning in the keys. They were gentle with everything. Nothing was damaged or lost. They disassembled and reassembled some of the furniture to be able to get it through the doorways. They even took some items to the basement of the new apartment for storage. Great guys and reasonable prices. I can’t recommend them strongly enough.
We hired S&J Delivery Services for our move. They were referred by "VeeJay The DJ". After talking with Jade (the J in S&J), it sounded too good to be true and you know what they say, if it sounds too good to be true - it usually is. Well...not the case here. There was absolutely no need to worry. They showed up on time. They were very professional. They were extremely pleasant very friendly. Jade is not human! Jade picked up all the totes and boxes like they were empty. He was the runner. Scott organized in the truck and Nate was the middle man. They all worked extremely hard and they were quick! These guys didn't mess around. They charge by the hour, not by the job. When they quoted the price for our job, we were really skeptical. But there was absolutely no reason to be. They did such an amazing job. They were sensitive and very careful and when it was all over, not only did we tip them but we paid them more than they asked for. In the end, we really felt like we had three new friends. We have a couple moves in the future and they absolutely will be the ones doing it. We have no desire to talk to anyone else. We have already recommended them and we are more than happy to talk to anyone with questions about our experience. They're absolutely amazing and you'd be stupid not to hire these guys. Great experience with S&J - they were punctual, professional, courteous and took great care with our belongings. Very knowledgeable and experienced with a fair price for the work. Would use them again and recommend to anyone in need.
We used S&J for our first big move ever!! Scott and Jade are seriously the dream team! I underestimated the amount of stuff we had and they were so accommodating. I am a control freak and they met all my expectations and more! Honestly- jade was able to take apart our complicated master bedroom set and put it back together better than the furniture delivery guys did! He is a jack of all trades! If you want a trusted, reliable, affordable, respectful and knowledgeable group of movers- this is your team! LOOK NO FURTHER!
Jade, Scott, and Nate are the movers you want to call! They were really responsive and remembered my roommate and I from a previous move we hired them for. They were punctual, extremely fast and efficient, and trustworthy guys! Hiccups happen, but they were so understanding when we actually had a few extra boxes than we thought we would have, and said, "no problem, we got this!" Definitely don't want to move for the next few years, but if I do, they will be the guys I'll call!
I highly recommend calling Jade and Scott to help with your moving needs. I am new to Buffalo and wasn't sure who to contact to move some furniture between floors in my circa 1912 home (read--steep, narrow stairs, basement, & attic) and I couldn't be happier. They are super professional, on time, and capable--not to mention just being really nice guys. They even helped me install a couple of window A/C units and took away some random items from my basement at no extra charge. Their prices are fair and their work is top quality and fast! I only wish that I had more things for them to help me with!! Scott and Jade are definitely my go-to guys now that they have helped me settle into Buffalo. Support local, you won't be disappointed!!
Honestly, and I mean this 100%, if you are in the middle of searching for a moving company, you need to stop your search now. I mean it. I have moved a bunch of times over the years, and have used various moving companies. But then I found these guys. Scott and Jade are extremely professional, down to earth, and great guys. I KNOW our move was more of a pain in the neck than it could have been (more items, boxes, and disassemble/reassemble than we originally thought), but they never complained about it and just kept on working. They were in a good mood the whole time and kept saying how much they love their job. On top off all this, they were by far the least expensive company we called. My final thought: People always seem to shop for price. But with movers, you have to find the right people who you can trust to handle all or your stuff, and to be in and out of your home. I can honestly say that the low price was just an added bonus to all of the above. These guys are the best.
S&J delivery services is absolutely amazing. I called them on super short notice being my original movers never showed up on me and I had to be out of my apartment that day. I left a message and they got back to se super quick and were nice enough to stop in between moves to help me out. Plus they charged me less than my original movers were going to charge me. They are such nice people and get the job done right and efficiently. If it wasn’t for them that day I would of been screwed. I would recommend them to anyone and would absolutely use them again if I need moving services again
We were extremely impressed with S&J! They moved our stuff so efficiently, and packed our entire apartment’s furniture into one truck!! Everything was done in a timely manner, they were all very friendly and polite and willing to help with whatever we needed. We definitely recommend to anyone looking to move fast and for a fair price!
This review is long overdue, so sorry Scott & Jade - I had fully intended to write this much sooner. I hired S & J to move my parents from NY state to SC. It was a very stressful and hectic time for my family and we'd already been ripped off by another mover so were very apprehensive about hiring another. I decided to go with a non national local company since the big chain movers only ever sub out their jobs to local guys and all had terrible reviews. I spoke with both Scott & Jade about the move. Their estimated cost was on par with other companies that do out state moves and they were so easy to work with. They were always very polite and patient with me - and I'm a tough customer on a regular day but even worse during this time. Really nice, considerate, professional guys. If you need a local or long distance move, I highly recommend these guys. They loaded up fast and very carefully and got all of mom and dad's stuff to it's new home on time and in very good condition. They even gave me updates as to their travel progress. They were so good at unloading into the different rooms where things were to live, went above and beyond what I expected. I'll hire them again if there's ever a need!
